Hey, bit off topic but I have just received 2 scorpions in the mail. They are described as giant hairy desert but after a quick search I'm torn as I've seen arizona bark scorpions that look identical how do I tell which it is. I could believe the sender but I have no clue who it was or whether their judgement can be taken to be true. Would appreciate any input that can be given

Cyriopagopus sp hati hati are arboreal tarantulas as well. They burrow as slings, but by the size of yours they usually start showing arboreal tendencies. Thats why it was living in the lid 😃

Urgent question for anyone reading. I think my pink toe has just started molting, it's been webbing around it's water dish the last 2 days. Half hour ago it was on its side in the water dish, (water dish is empty by the way) I filled it this morning but looks like it actually emptied it as it would normally have water in it for 24 hours or so before it all evaporates, anyway, I just checked on it and it's kind of fell the right way up but against the glass, looks like a really awkward position, it actually looks dead but its legs haven't curled up. Anyway, my question is should I flip it on to its back? I'm panicking, it wouldn't web up it's dish if it was just going to die right?

An observation put something the same colour the tarantula is ment to be if they see the colour that they ment to be it they get encourage to turn that colour me i've an obt and the lid is orange of his/her enclosure, and first molt of me haveing reggie or reggina bright orange.

I don't know how you all feel about this, but I'm angry. I just watched an innocent camel spider die. This guy put 3 deadly scorpions in with the camel spider and at one point he provoked the scorpions to attack it. I'm so sad that an innocent animal was killed simply for someone's amusement. The channel is BBR Wild. It was recommended by PLtoolss and I watched. There's all kinds of videos showing deadly animals being pit against each other. I think it should be banned. It's cruelty to animals 😭😭😭

@Lair of Centipedes Thanks He / she is doing great we have pin bark and some shredded bark about 4 inches deep , I have had some aggressive spiders but wow this guy is Uber aggressive and fast lol .

Worth mentioning they have one of the most potent venom of any centipede species. In terms of care, I suggest having a moisture gradient in the enclosure and some bark/leaf litter.

please make him see this Dude, I’ve been trying to tell you this for a while now. If you don’t want your slings to sit on the lids then all you need to do is put some Vaseline on the lid. I did the same with my carabena versacolour

big booty spider tip: put some of her old webbing in with the bark and she will build where it is everything is new so she thinks she's not safe yet that's why she is not building her hide.

This is a very confusing video Why does the arboreal Cyriopagopus sp. hati hati get a fossorial setup while it’s actually showing arboreal behavior in its last enclosure? I know the Poecelatheria and the Cyriopagopus sp. hati hati both show some semi arboreal behavior as a sling but giving a arboreal enclosure to one and not the other is very confusing.

we have an antilles pink toed tarantula my job at a petstore, its a new job for me, i am one of their animal care consultants. i never thought what i have been learning on this channel would come in handy in such a literal way, thank you for all of the videos you have done, i hope i can find someone who would keep him in a good home im fairly sure its a male based on the size, could be wrong though, i need to look more into the breed they are naturally smaller than other tarantulas.

Maaan I want your shirt, but for different reasons. I live in louisiana and Hurricane Laura have us a lot of wind damage, but no house damage thankfully but Delta.... My room is lower and separate from the main house.....woke up to a puddle and no electricity, by morning I had at least a foot of water in my room. Moldy? Oh yeah. Were too humid for it not to grow it. We jus got my bed and craft stuff out today and cleaned. And I had several garden/field spiders hanging outall around the outside the females disappeared after the storms but a male hung around longer. Kinda miss them. Little friends that aren't pets but help control my insect problem. Honestly had fear over our 8 legged buddies. Now nah. Unless it venomous....anything.

@Lauren Elvington idk what specific kind he uses but I use dollarstore containers. Its more just finding what works for you and what you can get in your area. There's not really one kind that's the best

I'm fairly sure they're Tupperware containers..of some sort or another....I keep some of my ts in them and they work fine
