Always so excited to see your C elegans- I have a tiny sling I named Care Bear and (s)he is one of a trio of my first ever tarantulas! I absolutely love watching the teeny tiny antics of my baby T buddies. I'm excited to see what the adult form will be, because the slings are eeny teeny tiny, so I think it will be a while before they graduate from their bitsy burrows lol.

Yes definatly. I have now 4 pumpkin patches 3 girls and a boy. Hopefully soon some babies as ive paired two of them. Thier dwarf too. Their all such sweet T's. And so adorable.

do ALL spiders molt?? just curious cuz am keeping a cave orb weaver in a container (my first ever spider, found locally) facebook.com/photo/?fbid=3549048895174589&set=pob.100002085391222 ... apparently, they are only small things and from what I gathered online only lives like 18 months or so but I kept this one for the hell of it and feed it flies and rollie pollies when I can. in the photo you can see it eating/guarding the rollie pollie it found in the container. I actually was surprised to see this cuz when the cooler winter temps came the rollie pollies I had in there disappeared for a long time. I assume they buried themselves in little dirt I had in a container and for some reason, one just came out the night before and the next morning the orb-weaver had it hoisted high off ground in the middle of nowhere and has been on it now for like two days now. I do have a few more rollie pollies for it for later in winter in another container which will have to do till spring cuz I don't have anything else to feed it in winter months around here, especially for such a small thing... I guess this will be a learning experience for me. so anyways, do ALL spiders molt, or is it really just something bigger spiders do ??

Okay wow :D my insta comment shown on a video of yours, the video is about the Cyriocosmus elegans my favorite Dwarf Tarantula species which was my very first pet Tarantula that i got because of your videos and the massive information that you spread with the years so far💖 so when this isn't a lucky day for me i don't know which would 🤪 (my first elegans adult female got sick and unfortunately died relatively fast after i got it😢 after that i adopted 2 very very very small slings- 0.5cm leg span, raise them to about 2cm legspan at the moment💖- and within a year i got 7 more tarantula species 5 slings and 2 adult females 💖💖) Keep up the good work, i really enjoy your content and you as a person :D hopefully in the future i would be able to visit the newnew DarkDen 😍

You should get a small Neocardina tank. I can see you really enjoying it. Very basic care and they are inverts and will molt just like tarantulas and crabs! Plus a nice planted set up looks beautiful with them.

Likely shes going to molt. They usually loose some hair before molting dont worry so much.

Repitles rarely are big enough to hold humans. But i get what you mean. Their kind of like holding a rough leather belt.... I know it sounds unkind but its the best description. I have my own Panther Camelion like Felix. His name is Ace. His skin isnt as rough. Hes like holding a baby person.

It’s good you share the crab shell. I had no idea they did that, till I got a hermit crab. It shed, and I freaked out thinking it was dead. Lol then I realized it molted. Wish someone would have told me then. 🤣 also this tarantula species is the tarantula I was first, to start off my collection. They are so beautiful!

My grandma who i grew up with got me my first Tarantula.... My grandpa nearly had a fit. Till he saw how gentle my Arizona Blonde was... The secomd T i got he bought me. It was so funny.
